Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen Warms It Up This November with Flavours of Italy

I will be the first to admit it, I miss the social buzz and warmth of summer in the Okanagan. But make no mistake, I do love the cool temperatures, bundling up in sweaters, and my birthday (yes, it's in late October) that come with fall.  I miss the warmth of friendly faces and new faces too. The Okanagan isheating up in the winter with all of our great offerings of the past few years as our culinary and wine culture bustles in its growth with ardent enthusiasm thats filling up our tummies and our social calendars in the Okanagan. Our local community of chefs consistently create and participate in creative and impressive food and wine events so I am always excited to venture out the door daily, in my sweater and boots.
One of my favourite places in the Okanagan, Ricardo's Mediterranean Grill shares in this feeling, where owners Sue Miller and Ricardo Scebba along with the most excellent team including the likes of Okanagan's many times titled, Best Bartender Luke Atherton and wife Melanie Atherton promise warm evenings of smiles, live music and yes, delectable italian dishes. With a strong italian wine list, local Okanagan and BC wine list and the award-winning craft cocktails of Luke Atherton you won't be out in the cold, or thirsty.
This November Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen is offering Taste of Italy, a weekly 3 course menu for the great deal of $35 that's been paired with exclusive italian wines like Amarones that you will rarely find by the glass anywhere. I know this hot little ticket will get me out with friends and family to dine with some of my favourite folks in the valley. I had a chance to preview the first week's Taste of Italy Menu of comforting dishes and italian wine last night.  Enoy the menu below with photos to follow, and make your reservations to enjoy a little piece of the Mediterranean in the Okanagan Valley this November.  We will be posting the menus weekly so stay tuned!
