Saturday night launched the first show on the stage of Liquidity Winery's Clusterfest with a comedy performance by Fringe Festival favourite Summer Shapiro. What an outstanding show. It gives us great enthusiasm and shows excellent promise for what Liquidity Winery endeavours to do with Clusterfest - to help enhance and grow an all-around vibrant arts culture including theatre, music, dance and fine arts in the Okanagan Valley by creating a venue for local and international talent.
President Ian MacDonald warmly welcomes us to the first night of Clusterfest
Summer Shapiro includes the audience in her performance
Summer Shapiro - with very few words has the audience in hysterics with her physical comedy
The show was held in the wine making building down the lovely drive from the restaurant and tasting room. The stage was set in the back of the winery, with a reception out on the crush pad as the sun set.
The experience created for us was pure. There weren't a lot of frills and the talent was exceptional. We were greeted by the Liquidity team including President and designer of the winery Ian MacDonald, General Manager Julie and Winemaker Matt Holmes with a glass of crisp white. Summer's performance was hysterical, surprising and literally audience engaging. I don't want to spoil the show for you so just get your ticket to see it yourself.
After the show a shuttle was available to bring us up to the winery for some post-performance enjoyments, including visits with our delightful artist entertainer Summer Shapiro.
We highly suggest you grab tickets for tonight or tomorrow nights show to see Summer, or any of the next artists visiting liquidity Winery's Clusterfest stage until August 3.
