Burger 55 Moves Out of the Fort to the Big House

Burger 55

Chris Boehm, owner and burger-building visionary is going to miss his little 300 square feet of burger flipping heaven. Penticton's most charming little burger station began it's rise to local adoration inside what I would consider a "heritage" former gas station. You can check out it's utter cuteness in the photo above. It's the end of an era, but the start of a new one… They are making a big move - 20 whole metres!

The popularity of Burger 55's build-your-own burger bar and custom-crafted burgers has caused it to outgrow its little fort in the back.  Chris is making the move just 20 metres away, in whats basically across the backyard. He has taken a few luxurious 1000 square feet of newly appointed space for your year round enjoyment just steps away.

Part of the charm of heading down and getting dinner at Burger 55 is that all the tables are picnic tablesoutside.  Yes, that is right, outside. In the summer what could be better? In the dead of winter though? It's still tasty but there's been limited or very chilly accommodations for diners. This move will fix that issue right up. Chris and his father have built you some fine indoor picnic style dining comforts in the bright, inventive, modern but good honest space.

Chris and team are racing around the clock to get the door open by next Wednesday, for a solid first weekend. See them at their new location soon!

There it is, from the fort in the back to the big house, they are all grown up!
