Even In The Heart of Wine Country, We Still Love Our Beer
With somewhat of a beer renaissance with so many craft breweries now pouring great suds, the choices are almost endless.  At micro we offer a selection of both local and international beers both on tap and by the bottle.  Although not the biggest space at only 900 square feet, it’s stocked with 8 taps and a bottled beer menu of 15 diverse and often hard to get beer.  As we’re a small independently owned bar, we also like to support small independent breweries and it’s a great opportunity for these genuinely ‘micro’ breweries to showcase their efforts.
Our blackboard menu keeps you up to date with the 8 constantly rotating taps where the beer you enjoyed yesterday may be replaced with a new discovery tomorrow.  A recent snapshot of the tap menu included beer from Seattle, San Diego, Portland, Penticton and Fort Bragg, California.
The bottled beer menu can include beer brewed around the corner at Tree Brewing or Cannery Brewing in Penticton, to Hoyne in Victoria, to Delirium Tremens in Belgium, Red Stripe in Jamaica and Anchor Steam from beautiful San Francisco.  The bottled beer menu provides the geographical location of the brewery along with alcohol content and brief tasting notes to whet your appetite.
Selecting beer for our bar is a team effort!  We taste and select only delicious examples, with an aim to provide a beer menu with depth, featuring styles from light to crisp, to dark and traditional to more experimental in flavor.  Our staff is constantly tasting, sourcing and discovering new beers to satisfy our guests requests from something new and unique.

With so many options available, micro offers beer flights where you can select four beers to sample.  The beer flights are a great opportunity to test your favourite against some new kids on the block and see how they fare.  Our beer flights are served on beautiful custom created boards made by a local artisan from reclaimed wood.  Not only does the beer taste great, it looks great too.
Conveniently located in downtown Kelowna, micro bar • bites is a popular spot to stop for a beer before or after the game, after a movie or just a great spot to meet friends for the evening.
